Hello

I have always loved drawing, painting and making things. No toilet roll was ever safe in our house. I was the stereotypical child who constantly badgered my mum with ‘I’m bored, what can I make?’. This blossomed into a more serious interest and I took my GCSE in Design when I was 12, crafting a wooden rocking horse. I went on to do an Art foundation course where I began to specialize in Graphic Design, and then studied at Nottingham Trent University for my BA (Hons).

Following university I was lucky enough to get a job at Frances Lincoln Publishers. And I remained there for 14 years, working my way up to Art Director. I got to work with incredible people on a daily basis and the varied and interesting projects led us to produce some beautiful books over the years.

I am now working as a freelance designer and still collaborate with Frances Lincoln on several projects. I am based near London and my new studio is in Hitchin.
